Foundation Continues Cooperation with K-9 Unit
"Tip" is a Border Collie pup. He represents a new direction for the K-9 unit, which will be buying and raising puppies where possible instead of year old dogs. Not only is it cheaper, but the dog is socialized in the community, raised by its handler, and becomes a dog that responds to commands in English.
"Tip" is the latest acquisition for K-9 by the PB County Sheriff' Foundation through its Davis-McCullough canine grant.
